magic damage
Ok big question stemming from the formal magic questions. Can you endow a charm (necklace, ring, etc) to provide elemental damage through your weapons? If so does it work through both weapons if you can use 2 weapons? How do you cast the damage? Or does each weapon have to be endowed? Also can you have a weapon do 2 types of damage, say an axe with one side fire the other ice.

Again I really dunno...... but an axe swinging fire and ice would be freaking AWESOME! .....
But I too would like to have an answer..... but for a bow!

formal magic
Adam,
You can not put a elemental enchantment on a ring or necklace. It has to be on a weapon and you cannot have more then one aura on a weapon.
You have to cast a damage aura spell on a weapon in a pyramid fashion but the max you can enhance a weapon is +3. Pyramid casting means one ritual for +1 two for +2 and three for +3 or six castings for a +3 in on setting.
I hope this helps, let me know if you need anything else.

Celestial Formal
Adam,
You guys do need to get some formalist but the magic you are asking about is Celestial formal only. You have a few Earth mages that will help with the other stuff but for damage and auras you will need a Celestial mage.

both magics together
here is another question. we have one Templar with celestial magic can he combine cast with earth magic casters to create the damage. If he and 2-3 others casters all with formal magic abilities combined to cast the elemental damage on a weapon. one caster could cast to make item unbreakable, then Celestial caster casts the damage, then another earth caster casts to extend the effect for 1 year. Would that work???

Formal magic
Adam,
The Templar Celestial caster would have to do a batch by himself in a celestial circle meaning he would have to do the damage aura ritual and then extend it. Then the Earth casters can take the weapon one do one ritual and one do another ritual. This is because they are from the same school of magic. The Templar can cast his rituals in the earth circle if he wants but that would put the rituals in dark territory, meaning it may or may no work and could be flawed. If it doesn't work the components are still burnt. But he would still have to do his rituals then pass it over to the earth casters. This goes for earth casters casting in a celestial circle.
Yes, your earth formalist could make a charm with a one day or ever cure spell on it. The same as any spell they can cast from memory like cure light wounds cure wounds cure serious wounds cure critical wounds cure mortal wounds etc... but it would work either once a day or once ever. but any item can be enchanted with five slots on it, rendering the item doesn't count as a slot. So the most a item could have is a 5 times a day or 5 ever item.
I hope this helps let me know if you need to know anything else.
