Re: Magic Items?
Thanks, for the link... I think I have read over most of that before, but still confused?
1) is on Scrolls - How are they acquired/made?
2) is like creating a magical item? Say I wanted to create a ring that had a X effect Y times per day? What formal magic is that?
3) is formal magic purchase in a pyramid style also?
Thanks

Michaeal,
Formal scrolls are found ingame or via some trading with PCs.
Well its a couple different formals first if you want the ring to be indestructible that is a render scroll ritual (lvl 2), then after you cast that you have to cast the next ritual or "batch" . If you want enchant it with a taint blood spell well you will need a expanded enchantment scroll ritual (lvl 6) once you cast it you have to cast the spell from memory "I call upon chaos to taint your blood", then cast the next spell in the batch. Which will be to extend formal magic scroll ritual (lvl 5) this way all the effects you casted will last for a year. If you don't cast the extend at the end of the batch all the formal you casted lasts for five days. This example would enchant a ring to be:
Ring
Rendered
Taint Blood 1/day
For one year
Formal magic is just bought in lvls not style pyramid, example if you have 20 lvls of formal you can do twenty first level rituals, four fifth level rituals, or in any combination equal to twenty or less than. I hop this helps

clarification
Ok I get the general process of casting the spell, just was wondering about this posibility. If I have my axe to do ice damage I have it made unbreakable, cast an ice spell, then have a spell to make the effects last for a year. My question is if ice storm is cast will the axe cause 35 damage with each swing?? I doubt so, but what would it do?

Re: Magic Items?
I have no idea on that.... I not even sure how/what spell you'd cast on a weapon to make it swing an elemental damage? Other then the standard Celestial one swing effect?
