Feed back from first event
Here is some feedback:
NERO SWV has a great camp, a vision, a deep plot, and some excellent fighters. I really got a work out, but that is goodness, I need the practice, and love having a non standard weapon, cause it totally changes how I view my own ability. The "challenging level" was very well done, considering the level range was from 2 to "I need a cure mortal wounds...and another...and one more". It will be interesting to see what happens next.
There was plenty to do, tons of props and mod sheets out and about, and we hardly saw half of it. Sales were sluggish, but it is a first time event for that chapter.

I was only there for about 8 hours Saturday evening/night, but had a great time. The 2 big mods that night were a lot of fun. Thanks to all SWV crew.

I had a blast!
I think the worst thing about the weekend was something that plot/NPCs/PCs had NO control over....
And that was the drive down from Chicago and back.
I think that for a brand-new chapter's first event, everything went as well as could be expected, and there was some SERIOUSLY intense roleplaying going on...it was great!
Good job, guys! Let’s get the message board up and going!

I had a really good time at this event too. Plenty of stuff going on and lots of roleplaying. I even had a blast getting captured... Hey all he said was a magic rock, SO I gave him a magic rock. The skill of the NPCs made combat fun and exciting and I loved watching the newbie guy NPCing, because he always had this gigantic smile on his face. You could tell he was having a lot of fun.
I have always loved that camp, but it was a lot different being on the other side of the action there.
I had a good time roleplaying with the PCs as well. From the sneaky gypsy alchemist to the Wolven crew, and everyone else, the roleplaying and fighting beside you guys was fun.
Thanks Everyone,

My feedback on the event. . .
It's a great camp. I never got the chance to play Dragon Isles, so that was my first time at Camp Arrowhead. Lots of trails, lots of little things like the bridge and the ponds that just scream good mod opportunities. Willow and Neelum loved the kitchen, I think they are going to like doing the tavern there a lot.
I do appreciate that you put a lot into the lore and setting information, and that we've only scratched the surface of what has happened. Collecting the lore of NERO has always been one of the things about NERO I enjoy most. That was the first time I ever got to use my Craftsman: Academic (Elven Lore) and Craftsman: Academic (Knowledge, Quentari) skills. With your cooperation, I'd like Cirin to start making a map of Naringal.
I do have to say it seems genuinely up in the open if Naringal is to become a Duchy of Evendarr (like Tyrangel or Elysia), an independent kingdom (like Stonegate), a semi-civilized wilder land (like the Mydian Valley) or a Concordance of Avalon Kingdom (like Willow dark). At this point it really does feel like what the PCs do
Roleplaying-wise I had a great time with the ratings (really late night in the tavern with the gypsies and ratlings playing cards and downing intoxicants, great times!), and in terms of PC to PC interaction Cirin be made didikai/gypsy-friend to the Kakarachka clan was definitely memorable.
I did get a little irritated (okay, pretty dang upset) at what happened with the doppelganger-Tel'Daarn on Sunday night, but I'll just let it ride and deal with it in-game (Cirin is definitely spirit-forging to get more Celestial now, one self-Imprison would have really saved his tail there).

Definitely fun stuff, from scaring the fur off of the Wolfen every time I rounded the side of the tavern, stealing Christiana's cow bell and running off with it. And being mistaken for Kivuli every 2 seconds. All good stuffs.
The food was awesome, great job kitchen crew!
Trying to get Leonardo's ring back in the middle of the night...damned spear messed everything up! lol
KA-KAW Run! You big furry bastard KA-KAW! That was awesome. Some of you know of what I speak
Getting my ear almost taken off by an enthusiastic first timer. but it's all good, it happens.
2nd event, 2nd magic item..woot! Silas is my lucky charm, and I'm his lucky black cat...whenever I hang with him I get good loot, and whenever he's around me, I end up saving his ass by not being there when the town gets rolled..lol.
Anyway, looking forward to the next event
take it easy all,
